I love journals, thoughts of the day, projects for tomorrow, pictures or drawings of yesterday, just anything that I feel like keeping close for a second look. I am really enjoying looking at your pictures and reading you. I think it is wonderful to be able to go back and see what you were thinking in the past and compare it to now. It was around the time I created the journals.

I thought blogging would be another way of creating a journal but it not quite the same. I love it but there is nothing like working with your hands. It is such a great feeling to pick up a journal ,look and ponder. I like your idea of visual on one side and writing on the other. A great solution! There is always that tricky business of which journal. It has to be just the right one. It almost acts as a force in itself....drawing you in.

Lots to think about...a perfect day for it. So nice of you to stop by. In the meantime, I am off to look at the website for a 'refresher' course :)

Have a wonderful day!Jeanne Henriqueshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07986759909478180763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6799311497721635618.post-48022067886059345352010-04-24T12:26:37.441+01:002010-04-24T12:26:37.441+01:00This is so cool, Jeanne! I jot down words, ideas, sketches, and glue cuttings, ephemera, etc on the left pages of a notebook, and do my writing on the right pages (writing on every other line). I get those notebooks with the pockets so i can tuck away larger items like brochures, articles, letters, etc. I just love your art journals, Jeanne. Have you ever read Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way? If you're feeling a bit blocked creatively, this book might help you. Here's her website: http://www.theartistsway.com/

:) Lizzyehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09300586836372077575noreply@blogger.com
