My Space

I am having one of those days. I have a house full of things that need to be put away from our move last week. I look at one room, then the next and look back at my space (which of course is neat and tidy and just the way I want it) and decide there is just one more thing I need to do. Of course, this has taken up the last four hours of the day. Where does time go?
I discovered a series of journals that I created while taking painting lessons a few years back.  I was living in Sydney at the time. The journals are filled with inspiration from Australian artists and life in general. Freedom and expression seem to be top of mind back then. I just loved this image and was inspired by the texture, form and colour. In fact, I still am. I always wanted to take a pottery class. There is something about working with your hands. The messier, the dirtier, the better!

With that thought, I guess it is time to get back to work:)
